Lightworks supports several ways of working with others: shared project spaces for teams on common storage, ShareLink review for gathering feedback, cloud services for moving media, and archives for handing whole projects between systems.
A project space groups projects, and project spaces can live on shared network storage so a team sees the same work. Set this up from the Project Browser:
Everyone needs reliable access to the same storage - both the project space and the media it references. Keep media on the shared storage too, so clips are online for every workstation.
Note: Shared projects are a licence-dependent feature. Check what your plan includes.
For feedback without handing over the project, Lightworks has a Review workflow built around ShareLinks:
This is the low-friction way to run client and team review rounds - notes arrive in the timeline rather than in an email.
Add cloud services - Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, pCloud - as libraries, which makes it easy to pull in clips uploaded from a phone or by a remote contributor, and to upload exports to shared storage straight from the Export panel (see Export overview).
To hand a whole project to another editor or another machine, use a Lightworks archive - it packages the project and, optionally, its media into files you can move on a drive or over a network (see Archiving and restoring work).
