Pre-Installation Checks

  • Virus-protection software, security software and Firewall(s) are turned off.

  • Your graphics card driver is up to date.

  • All other programs are closed down.

  • You are logged into the operating system with Administrator privileges.

 

 

Installing Lightworks for the First Time

Select your pricing tier and click on the Download button.

Once downloaded, click on the .exe file to open.

Installer Language pop-up window will appear, select a language and click OK.

Click Next and follow the on-screen prompts.

When the installation has been completed, reboot your system.

Uninstalling Lightworks

Select the Start/Windows icon.

Click Settings.

Select Apps.

Scroll the list of Apps & Features to find Lightworks.

Click on Lightworks and then select Uninstall.
